¶ Farming
- The core mechanic of the game involves building fields and growing crops.
- Trees can be harvested 5 times before they need to be chopped and replanted (i.e. re-purchased).
¶ Market
- In your own market you can sell any item (except expansion materials) and up to 10 of that item. There is an allowable minimum and maximum price that the game defines.
- The purchase limit allows us to make a maximum of 10 purchases at a time. Each purchase point takes 2 hours to regenerate.

If you find yourself short on money, you can:
- Market arbitrage: Buy low → sell high → profit. But note that some items take longer to sell!
- Sell at maximum price: Certain items, e.g. fruits, will always sell (and relatively quickly most times) due to their high demand.
¶ Quests
- As you start the game, there are storyline quests represented by two NPC icons on the left edge of your screen.
- The only quest worth highlighting are the ones to unlock the NPCs that allow you to customise your avatar.

Once the storyline quests are completed, NPCs start to randomly generate delivery quests.
- The trash can icon on a quest indicates it's randomly generated, which typically means you've finished the main storyline quests.
- Recommendation: These radomly generated requests can be ignored as they provide far fewer rewards than beetle deliveries.
¶ Animal Pens
- We can buy up to three of each animal pen.
- The first animal pen costs coins and Village Spirit.
- The second animal pen costs more coins and more Village Spirit.
- The third animal pen costs gems and even more Village Spirit.
- If you're running low on Village Spirit, and are out of space / money for new decorations, selling your second animal pen is one way to give back some of your Village Spirit.
- From experience, this setup has been very effective: 2 cow barns, 1 chicken coop, 1 pig pen.
¶ Factories
- Each new factory costs increasingly more coins and village spirit.

Each factory comes with 2 queue slots by default.
Each additional slot costs 8, 16, 24, 32
respectively.

Each factory comes with 6 "completed" slots.
If the "completed" slots are full, any product queued for production will not begin.

Each factory has this ⇆ icon. Clicking it opens the `Queue Change Skill` shop:
- This allows you to rearrange the queue or remove items from the queue.

To enable this feature costs 100
- Purchasing this feature only enables it for the ONE factory.
- To enable it in every factory, it will cost 100 x N factories.
- If you have gems and are unsure how to spend them, getting a second Flour Mill, Sugar Mill, and Dairy Processor goes a long way to improving your production capacity.
- Expanding each factory to 3 queue slots is also quite useful. The priority is again the three core factories: Flour Mill, Sugar Mill, and Dairy Processor.
¶ Levels
- When you level up, all your crops, trees, animal pens, and factories instantly finish production.
- It is always helpful to plan ahead for when you're about to level up.
¶ Storage

- The silo stores crops and (tree) fruits.

- Each upgrade increases its capacity by 10.
- Due to the randomness of deer delivery rewards, it is easy to get an imbalance of expansion materials which takes up precious storage space while you wait on the materials you need.
- If you are playing to have at least N amount of every product, I suggest allocating up to 15-30% barn storage (depending on how conservative you are) for expansion materials.
- For example, if you have 100 storage and decide on a 25% buffer, treat that as if you only have 75 when calculating for N. So with 20 items unlocked, make 3-4 of each product instead of 5 of each product.

¶ Currencies
¶ Money 
- Use: Buy plants, trees, factories, and decorations.
- Obtained by: Completing quests, beetle deliveries, and lotus deliveries.
- It is quite challenging to earn money in the early-game. However, this becomes easier at higher levels.
¶ Gems
- Use: Buy decorations, instantly complete production, and customise your avatar.
- Obtained by: Daily leaderboard rewards, completing achievements, and purchasing with money.
¶ Hearts 
- Use: Customise your avatar.
- Obtained by: Helping others by either watering their plants, fertilising their trees, or fulfilling their deer / lotus delivery requests.
- Currently there is no other use for this currency.
¶ Roses 
- Use: The only use for these roses are to gift them to others who can accept them as rose coins (see below).
- Obtained by: Buying gem packs from the Shop.
¶ Rose Coins

Use: Customise your avatar,

lightning points.

item in the rose shop
will actually provide you 2 lightning points.
- There is a daily limit of making three purchases of the lightning item. This means you can purchase a maximum of 6 lightning points per day.

- Obtained by: Giving roses, or accepting (i.e. picking up) roses that others have left on your farm.

The rose shop is accessible from the rose icon in the
bottom-right menu.
¶ Lightning
- Use: Each lightning point reduces factory production time by 5 minutes.
- Obtained by: Sending off full lotus deliveries, or purchasing through the rose shop using rose coins.
¶ Lotus Dew 
- Use: Used for conversion.
- Obtained by: Co-op rewards, purchasing using gems.
¶ Sun potion 
- Use: Used for Linden's Sapling Garden.
- Obtained by: Purchasing using gems.
¶ Leaderboards
- Make sure to click the trophy icon in the top-left area of your screen to collect gems from the daily rank rewards!
- The game resets at 1am GMT+10 / 11am GMT-4 / 3pm GMT.
- Also click on the gift icon to collect your daily login event award. This one is easier to spot since it has the red exclamation mark.
