Decorations are used to increase your Village Spirit (a.k.a decoration points).
-
There are three types of decorations, ones that are bought with:
-
Money: These decorations provide 1-3 Village Spirit per square.
-
Gems: These decorations provide 5-10 Village Spirit per square.
-
Roses: These decorations provide 1-6 Village Spirit per square.
The rose shop is accessible from the rose icon
in the
bottom-right menu.
When starting out, the humble white / red / yellow flower bunch is a great choice for maximum (3) Village Spirit per square for the lowest money cost.
-
Aside from money/gems, building fields, trees, animal pens, and factories require
Village Spirit.
-
For example, if you don't have enough Village Spirit, you will not be able to build the next factory.
-
There are three ways to increase Village Spirit:
-
Village Spirit also decreases how long it takes for your crops to grow by a percentage value.
When you click the green bar in your profile card (top left corner of your screen), it will break down your:
-
Village Spirit
-
Max Village Spirit
-
Growth Speed: The percentage value for your cropss to finish sooner.
It's likely you'll always find yourself short on Village Spirit.
This is one strategy around it.
It is highly recommended to focus on house upgrades first
before doing welfare research.
This is because for a similar amount of materials, the house upgrade always provides 200 Village Spirit while welfare
research provides less.
-
To access this feature: Click on NPC Hannah > Welfare > Pick a research area > Research
-
Expansion materials, rewarded from deer delivery, are required to do research.
-
Each research area needs a combination of three items from below:
-
Quill
-
Inkpot
-
Parchment
-
Lantern
-
Village Spirit rewarded:
-
The first research in a research area will provide 45 Village Spirit.
-
Each subsequent research in a research area will be increase the Village Spirit rewarded by 10 points.
-
There are 20 research available in each research area.
-
The final — 20th — research provides 235 points and requires 20 of each material (i.e. 60 in total).
-
To trigger an upgrade: Click on your house > Upgrade > Upgrade.
-
The house can be upgraded to provide up to 8,000 Village Spirit.
-
Each upgrade increases the house's Village Spirit by 200.
-
Expansion materials, rewarded from deer delivery, are required to upgrade it:
-
Click on your profile picture to open your profile.
-
Click on the little person icon in the top right of your profile picture which will open a pop up asking

-

Each shop NPC will customise a different aspect of your avatar:
-
Ivy: Hair, hair colour
-
Jack: Face, eye colour, skin colour
-
Bella: Outfit, outfit colour (Note: There are two tabs in her shop: one for clothes, the other for held items.)
These NPC shops will be unlocked in one of the quests. It will also cost 1,000 coins, if I recall correctly, to build each shop.
-
